Donuts, anyone?

“Hope you don’t mind me coming by. I thought maybe Rose would like some donuts, or yourself,” he gestures around the room, looking at the other ladies, “or anyone.”
Emily steals the box, “Hell yeah, donuts get in my tummy!” She opens the box and looks up to the heavens. “Thank the Lord for this man. This man who brought all the good stuff." She stuffs a bear claw, cake donut, and chocolate-covered one on her plate that already has eggs and bacon. I’ve never seen her eat so much. “You see, normally I don’t care for men, but if one was to bring me donuts, I could get used to them.”
The General moves past me. I’m frozen in place. He shyly smiles bringing his hand to the back of his neck. “We men can be okay sometimes. The good ones know that flowers and sugar can get them out of any jam.”
The General... anyone remember him from 𝘈𝘭𝘭'𝘴 𝘞𝘳𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 𝘪𝘯 𝘓𝘰𝘷𝘦 & 𝘓𝘪𝘦𝘴?
